The DreamStation BiPAP autoSV is designed for patients with central sleep apnea, complex sleep apnea, and periodic breathing to deliver optimal ventilation with minimal intervention. BiPAP autoSV monitors and stabilizes the patient's changing breathing patterns. It automatically adjusts the support so that the patient is well cared for with each breath and can enjoy a comfortable and restful sleep.

Objective

The therapy goal is defined based on the patient's recent breathing patterns.For this, the average target peak flow is calculated over a moving 4-minute window. The DreamStation BiPAP autoSV then performs the following tasks.
